Mike Nolet

Founder, LiveBetter Foundation

Mike is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist focused on trying to solve the global mental health crisis.  He spends most of his time running the LiveBetter Foundation which provides financial and operational support to non-profits that are attacking this problem at scale.  He serves on the board of several mental health organizations, including Action for Happiness, Closegap.org and as an advisor to Koko and Kyan Health.

Prior to running the foundation, Mike founded two different startups.  The most recent, LiveBetter, leveraged techniques originally perfected by advertisers to help people be happier, healthier and more satisfied through a direct to consumer application.  LiveBetter was acquired by Ginger.io (now Headspace Corporate) in March of 2020.

Before entering the mental health space, Mike was the co-founder and CTO at AppNexus, the world's largest independent online advertising exchange that handles over 10-billion transaction a day.  While there, Mike led the design and development of the core technology platform, recruited over three hundred team-members across six offices, and helped the company survive five institutional fund-raising rounds totaling more than $225M until an ultimate exit to AT&T in 2018 for $1.6B.

Mike's entrepreneurial career began at the age of 15, when he sold his first software application, and continued at Princeton University, where he studied Economics.
